Lycaste aromatica is one of the most spectacular species of the Genus. A profusion of bright yellow flowers that smell like cinnamon emerge in late spring from a dormant, leafless plant. Good for outdoors in coastal Southern California. 2-3 mature bulb size plants. Happily starting to push new growths, so soon the buds will present. They do that mid way into the growth cycle and when the blooming is over the growths push on to foliage and bulb formation. It is a fun thing to watch and easy to grow unless you OVERWATER your plants and rot things. Moderation in all things is key….
