Amazing member of this large group. Flowers are enormous, like 12" stars. Tepals are a striped orange with a deep maroon lip. Very strong scent. Seedlings

Bulbophyllum facetum

Related to B. sumatranum, but flowers are more open on a shorter stem. Large blooms relative to the plant, are light yellow with striking red reticulation, especially heavy in ventral sepals. Watch its very unique hinged lip rock! Very nice and relatively compact.

Chysis bractescens

From tropical Mexico, this epiphytic species is very showy. The plant has long pendulous cylindrical bulbs topped with luscious soft dark grey-green leaves. Large white heavily substanced flowers emerge in clusters from the new growths. Wonderful candidate for baskets or on mounts. Multi-cane, strong plants in 3" pots.
