Cattleyas have long been considered the "Queen of the Orchids".

Many people consider them to be the most beautiful and the standard symbol for the entire orchid family. For others the thought of cattleyas conjures up large lavender flowers that grandmother wore. Nothing could be further from the truth today. No longer relegated to the corsage market, cattleyas come in every shape, size and color imaginable. We want to offer you a plant for wherever your taste may lead you. Even if it may be a corsage for Grandmama!

Blc. Arthur Bossin 'Rapture'

One of the best C. walkeriana hybrids we have seen. Very compact growth, with large, for this breeding line, dark rose-lavender blooms and darker lips offset by a white column. Good shape and enchanting perfume. Summer season, though often comes again in winter. Super strong grower.

Pot. Montana Spirit 'Big Sky'

This is a great hybrid between Pot. William Farrell and C. loddigesii. Large clusters of soft pink flowers highlighted with egg yolk-yellow lips held in nice clusters on mature plants. Very easy culture.

Lc. Gaskel-Pumila 'Azure Star'
An older hybrid, but still a classic and highly sought after for its color. Very compact plants produce wonderful blue flowers highlighted with little dark blue flares on the tips of the petals.

Lc. Helen Christie 'Puesta del Sol'

One of the very few L. gouldiana hybrids and a favorite of ours. Majestic spikes of purple flowers bloom every fall. These will grow into fantastic display plants with their easy culture and tall, long lasting spikes. Temperature tolerant.

Slc. Samba Princess 'Pretty in Pink'

A very showy hybrid from our friends at Aranda Orchids. This C. loddigesii hybrid is a show stopper. Clusters of large shocking pink flowers held nicely above the plant. The flowers last a month, easy!

C. Janice Evans 'Sweet Sixteen'

New mericlones of this fabulous cattleya. Well known in Santa Barbara for the specimen sized plants often seen in the show surrounded by ribbons and trophies. Lovely soft pink flowers with a little purple on the lip. Temperature tolerant!
